Research Interests
Dr White is a theoretical ecologist at the UK Centre for Ecology & Hydrology (UKCEH) and works at the interface of theoretical and empirical sciences. He has 20 years’ research experience in modelling vector-borne diseases, environmental change and species spread. A key aspect of his work is utilising complex empirical data in parameterising and validating informative mathematical and simulation-based models. In OpTick he will co-develop models of impacts of changes in land use and mitigation strategies on tick-borne diseases in the UK. |
