Laura MacKenzie

I am a post-doctoral research associate at the Institute of Infection, Veterinary and Ecological Sciences University of Liverpool. My research interest centre on the drivers and spread of vector-borne infections across spatial scales. In OPTICK, I will co-lead the field work in agricultural habitats, to collect ecological, environmental and economic data.

Further, I will conduct statistical to understand the effects of environmental and land-use change on tickborne disease risk in livestock. I work closely with collaborators, stakeholders and farmers/stakeholders to provide meaningful research to the community.
