Research Interests

Caroline is a Senior Lecturer and veterinary researcher based at the University of Liverpool with more than a decade of research experience on the eco-epidemiology of tick-borne pathogens. Her research interests centre on applying interdisciplinary approaches to understand the ecological and social drivers of zoonotic disease risk in changing environments. She works closely with stakeholders and communities to develop research questions and develop outputs and interventions. In Optick she is leading the empirical data collection of ecological, environmental, economic data to understand how environmental change will affect risk and burden from tickborne diseases in agricultural habitats.
